As someone who grew up with cars (from the 60s & 70s) driven by the rear wheels, I must comment that they were quite different from an S2000. They all had a pronounced front-end weight bias (~60%) – understeer was the order of the day. The S2000 is much easier to get rotating, which is a great thing until one overestimates the grip his/her tires have on the pavement - can go very wrong in an instant.

I confess to driving aggressively, but I do so with intense awareness of the conditions – all of the conditions. I have no desire to endanger myself, others, or our cars. Still, the car just begs to be driven hard. It's sad to see the fallen comrades – don't want mine to join them.

For the first time in a month, I saw another S2000 today – ((the darker) yellow) looked nice and clean. We gave each other the requisite gestures of approval/understanding as we passed in opposite directions. I'd hate to lose that occasional pleasure – yeah, stop wrecking these cars!

There will come a day when parts will few and far between and people will stop saying it makes mine worth more. I never want to see an S go down. Its so selfish and short sighted.

+1 short sighted big time

Price going up only matters if you're selling and never coming back to the S.

Idiots and/or inexperienced drivers will still total their cars; nothing said on this forum will stop it.
