I know what's the problem. You didn't remove the OEM metal piece when you installed the AUT. Now, the AUT cooling plate is floating a little above, making it difficult to close.

You should adjust the hood latch to make it higher so the hood closes correctly.

I don't think he did. If you read his original post, he's having a hard time putting the bolts in. that means that the flat metal piece was not removed. I know because I have the same problem before.

yeah, i DID remove that metal piece. i know for sure. it's laying next to me right now. everything's working fine and i've been driving it for 2 days now. the only thing is that i have to drop the hood to get it shut. i just wasn't used to dropping the hood from that high earlier.
