I've actually been checking out ITRs myself, not as a replacement for the S2K, but rather a daily driver. The only thing I'm concerned with is the theft rate on the Integra in general, which kinda draws me back. I had a '97 RS a few years back and I really liked the car, even though it was an automatic.

All in all, I think Integra is a great car, with decent power and great space, but definitely not a replacement for S2K for the fun factor.

ive also owned both vehicles. the typer was boosted but in stock form fwd was fun. the vtec was real loud.
I still prefer my s2k because of the rwd.. can't go wrong either way. but the s2k is more fun. hope this helps.

i lived in phx AZ for a 1 1/2 years and theft on the s2000 was high too. they dont take cars they just take seats, gauges, steering wheels, start buttons and other random small crap that usually totals the car. which then it goes to auction and they buy and put u crap back in it and drive it. idk i think im gonna look locale for an itr and see if i really need to have one and go from there.

Famous last words of ANY ITR owner. I lived in a safe area, but somehow the a$$holes found me. Word gets around that there's a new ITR in town. A friend tells a friend, etc. The bastards even follow people home and steal the car at an opportune time.

DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE THE ABILITY OF TYPE-R'S TO VANISH. You are fore-warned.

An ITR is on a whole different level from a "nice car". It has plenty of parts that people want. Just be careful, that's all.

Totally different cars in my opinion. I own both. The only disadvantage of owning an ITR is the theft issue, especially here in Southern Cali where theft is notorious.
