WRX's got uglier and uglier after the GC8. Bugeye GDB is okay, and blobeye GDB is okay. I cant stand hawkeye GDB or newer.

Anyway, bought an Evo after having my S2K for about 4 months. Very stupid. Prefer my S over it.

But also may be getting rid of my S for reasons, namely I don't want to continue to own/insure 3 cars. The Evo regardless if I like my S better, is here to stay for the long. My 3rd car is a 96 Civic, with a swap and 119K miles. Selling Civic, and swap S2K for a reasonably newer daily. I wont daily an Evo and I wont daily an S.
Which evo did u buy? Someone is coming to look at my s2k tomorrow and I'm hopefully jumping into a 2012 evo. Almost everyone tells me it's a stupid move and to keep my s2k. But I miss having a turbo car
Personally, I came from a turbo Nissan SE-R way back in the day that trapped 110mph back in 2003. Then I got a 2005 Evo. Now I have the S2k. Sure, I miss the power of the other cars, but there's no way in hell I'd trade the S2k for the Evo. S2k just has that full driver connection feeling that the Evo lacks. And for around where I live, handling is more important than power. So that's just my personal take on it.

The steering wheel in the new WRX is nicer as is the rest of the interior, but thats not a big deal to me. The handling was very good and honestly it was a great daily driver but its no S2000. I would have to own both the WRX and S2000.
Killer B Motorsport twin-scroll gtx3067R turbo kit for the WRX will fix the power issue

I'm so torn man. I'm coming for a 350whp 327ft tq ep3. I bought my s2k which is a fun car. But the lack of tq. And I don't want to get into heavy modding again. I wanted an evo. Intake catback exhaust tp and tune and be done. I would love a 2005 evo but all the ones here go for so much and their almost all modded.

I came from a faster turbo Nissan to a S2000. I have never missed the Nissan that I owned for 5 years. I am still in love with the S2000 as much as...or more than I was... when I bought it 10 years ago.

The only positive is how much EVERYBODY ELSE loves them. I pulled up to a show/meet when this was taken, shit hasnt been washed in months, yet people still took pics. Because Evo. I was surprised when I saw some pics after the event.

I'm going to keep an eye on this thread. Going to get rid of my 2004 Jetta 1.8T soon. Still going to keep my S and very VERY tempting to pick up a new WRX by the end of the year.

Nice car. There's a 2015 sti in my area. 21k miles white. The dealer keeps dropping the price. It's sitting at 31k right now. So tempted
