I cut the top of my shifter stalk another 1/4" to make it sit even lower

That's an interesting concept. Was there enough thread left to have taken even more off without compromising the secure attachment of the knob?

Yeah, there's plenty of thread left. My knob actually screws all the way down until it meets the flare in the shift stalk. There is also enough thread to put the stock one back on. I'm not sure if it's exactly a 1/4" or not but it's pretty close.

No nuts on my knob here! (wait, that sounded kinda wrong) In any case, I love my voodoo knob, looks better and my shifting has improved with it

Since we're on the topic, I recommend putting loctite (blue) on your antennas too. (damn thieves)
