Took a look at an S2000 at the dealer.
They had two right in front parked on the grass. I noticed one was a 2001 (gray) and a yellow 2002. I didn't get hassled by anyone as all the salespeople were dealing w/ families buying accords and minivans. The S2000 is a nice tight little package. I'm driving a 2001 M3 now so it has more room in it of course than the S2000. I'm selling the M3 for a number of reasons not associated with the car which is why i'm looking at the S2000. How many of you drive it everyday? Do you ever feel cramped in it? To me the cock pit felt small but otherwise I really like the car. The looks of it put the boxster and esp. the Z3 to shame.
Welcome to the board. I've have my S2000 since May 4th. I've almost driven it every day, or I find a way too, heh. The weather has been great here. I don't think it's as cramped as it looks, if you count the trunk. It has very DECENT sized trunk that can be very useful (golf clubs).

The glovebox inside, is what you will use most. After you open the glovebox there is another hidden cavity which pops open. THere are also pouches on the backs of the seats if you need to hide stuff in.

I'm 6'3" and I don't feel cramped. I've driven it for many hours on end and it's great.
I also agree with your assessment of the looks of the S2000. I wouldn't suggest a test drive unless you are ready to buy one. If you do drive one, drive a used one that is broken in already and don't be afraid to use all 9000 RPMs. It doesn't come alive unless the throttle is floored and you hit 6000 RPM. Many people claim to have a permanent VTEC grin that they can't get rid of.
Enjoy,
Bob
Mine's a daily driver. I love it because it's a great excuse to not be designated driver when i go out with a group of friends. I don't feel cramped inside with the top up. I love my s2000!
