I was in Tokyo a few years ago. People just leaned their bicycles up against trees and went to work.

In DC people would lock their bikes to street signs. Thieves would pull the signs out of the ground and take the bikes.

Had the car parked at McGill University (in Montreal)(was staying there for the F1 GP), with the top up, and someone flicked a cigarette from an upper room and it landed on the clothe part just below the window and burned a hole in it.

Now I'll alway remember that GP.

Funny enough though in Japan, nothing of such sort or little road rage barely occurs on everyday driving with heavy traffic jams. Hmm, I guess it's just the people who determine what it's like.

I guess they export all their 'road ragers' to Sydney eh, Takashi

This one I'll never forget...
My roommate was driving one night with me in the passenger seat and some guy in the car in front of us flicks a cigarette butt out his window. Well, it landed right on my roommates' head and splattered sparks and ash all over the interior. I was livid. We quickly extinguished any remaining sparks and made sure nothing was burning. I told him to try to catch the oblivious jackass so I could give him a piece of my mind. We caught him and had to follow him for about 6 miles before we came to a light.

I jumped out of the car, swiftly walked up to his vehicle, and rapped on the window. This is the good part. The said smoker begins rolling his window down until he sees my face, then he immediately rolls it back up so there is just a small crack to talk through. I told him to watch where the hell he flicked his butts and that it got all over my car. His voice was shaking when his apology came out and he kept checking the light to see if it had turned green yet. So i banged one more time on his window and told him to be careful.

Luckily, upon a full inspection the next day there was no damage done to the car. Needless to say, I'm very leary of following smokers now when the top is down.

Don't forget about what happened to the Porsche with an open sunroof in the Caddy Shack movie... I always put my top up when parking the car... especially if I happen to be parking near a bar!

I left my top down for five minutes and when I came back someone had ripped the center console open (I had it locked) and took everything out of it (around $600 worth of stuff) they also spit a few times on the seats for good measure. People are just *ss holes now-a-days. A couple weeks ago, I banged up my S2K a bit and was sitting on the side of the road waiting for a tow truck. When this kid in a maroon Saturn (with an exhaust) drove by and taunted and cursed at me and then pulled 2 more U-Turns and did it again another 2 times. Not one person pulled over to see if I was O.K, and I had this kid cursing me to high hell with nothing I could do. Man, if I ever see this person...........

In the gym parking lot (away from everyone) two guys go over to check out my car, one on each side, standing right up to the car at the doors. I watch them through the window (in sweats but ready to go outside)and looks like one guy (drivers side) tries the handle. Then they say something to each other and walk away. they weren't parked in the lot but in another one about 100yards away. No damage done, maybe they were just admirers.

Anyway, the sensor alarm is a must for top down parking. Chirps when people get close and triggers if reached into. Between that, the "club" and a busy area, most people are deterred due to the "pain in the ass" effect.

I have a stupid road rage incident... some moron across 2 lanes almost taking out the front of my car. I beep the horn and hit the brakes. As we approach the stop light, her worse-half throws a kids toy out the back window at me!!

I got their license plate number and gave it to the cops. The cops said they would stop them and search them the next few times they see the car... lovely..
