Default transmission

Enjoying our new S2000...250 miles so far. I am wondering if anyone has experienced having the transmission pop out of gear. It has happened to me three times, while cruising steady state on a little bit bumpy road at about 2300 rpm, I think 4th gear each time but the first time might have been out of 3rd, not sure. Anyone?

I dont think you are the only one to have experienced it. But when it happens, take note of how long you've been out and about driving; whether or not its warmed up or not. Could make a difference.

I've had it happen once. At 250 miles I'll assume you're not getting on it very hard (shouldn't). Have a service advisor document it, if you think it is a reoccuring problem. It may help down the road if something major happens to the tranny. I don'tknow if the PDI entails topping off the transmission fluid or differential fluid...really doesn't sound normal. Of course, your getting used to a unique transmission, and car, and maybe you aren't putting enough pressure on the stick or are letting the clutch out too soon?
