Under the dashboard -- is there supposed to be a cover?

I remember wondering the same thing when I looked under my drivers side dash on my AP1. I looked around online at the parts diagrams and came to the conclusion that nothing was missing. I can't remember if that much wiring was exposed though, I'll try to take a picture tomorrow.

On the driver side, you should have another piece under the steering wheel.
Can't find a good photo, but it is part 29 of the Instrument Panel Garnish. Maybe the angle of the photo is just throwing me off, but it looks like you're missing it, since the valet switch is under the steering column.

but OP has a 2005, so no revised dashboard, no passenger map pockets or driver cover...29 thing.So in short you're not missing a thing, Nick

Thanks guys. Hmm, I'm curious now about what the devised dash looks like. Can't load Apollo's pics -- server must be down or something.
Could someone else upload a pic? Was it revised only once? Maybe I'll think about upgrading one of these days...
