Smile Upright windshield

Surely this has been brought up before. But, as a new owner, I have to vent my frustrations.

The windshield really doesn't look that upright. But, man does it attract bugs I literally clean it every day.

Does anyone use rain-x to help in removal? Does it work?

Maybe slowing down would help..............Na.

Yeah it stinks. Get used to it though...in a month or two it will be chipped up from rocks and debris.

Nice mild evenings, cooling down at night. It sucks...

Actually, tonight is only the second time since I've had the car that I put the top up. (Over a month)

There is a great ad on tv over here with some monks of some sort (dali-lama?). They are split between two cars.
The oldest of the group is swerving all over the road. The younger one can't understand what he is doing.
When he finally stops and asks the old one why he was driving like that, the oldest monk simply points at all the bugs on the young monks car, and the lack of bugs on his own.

Gotta be where you drive and the time of day. Over here, I get them all the time on Highway 4. Other major roads though, like I-80 or 680, non issue. I'm using RainX w/ Bug and Tar remover Windshield Fluid. Seems to work OK.

the steep angle is to protect you in a roll over. windshield and roll bars support the weight of the car

I have found that soapy water is much better at removing bugs than the blue window cleaners for the wiper spray. Unfortunately, if you live where there is winter you will have to flush it out before the first freeze. Also, it doesn't evaporate nearly as quickly.

Cheers
