i dont have the money to have it towed, kinda need the car for work tomorrow morning... any idea what it can be? how much would a new engine cost me?
how do you drive an S2000 and not have the $50-100 it costs to have it towed to a shop? do you live in the middle of canada or something, or like 100 miles from a shop? if you answered no to that last question, then you probably shouldn't have been driving an S2000 to begin with, not to mention, you mis-shifted, so you probably should have been driving an '88 civic while you learned how to drive stick.

that said, sorry about your car. sarcasm aside, none of us like to see another owner in your shoes. and...wow, you posted in introductions on 12/10, so your car is barely 3 days old (to you)? BUMMER.

yeah.... i know.... It was dumb on my part, ive been driving stick for a while now its not that, i was just never used to such a high powered vehicle and got a little over excited, when i shouldve gotten use to the car a little more before i tried anything, o well though you learn from your mistakes. Im having it checked out tomorrow to see if its just the valves. Im not driving it or trying to start it by the way. Would you guys recommend getting some aftermarket valves and maybe shaving the head a little while its out?

I think the inflation on cost is probably due to a fear mongering fee.
.
If you think my comments in this thread are fear mongering you are quite wrong.

Labor costs vary widely from location to location, but no matter what, a complete engine will always cost more than just a cylinder head (assuming that both are in comparable condition), by a substantial amount.

Was your comment an attempt to help the poor buy out with his car, or were you just trying to say something imflamatory?
