I have already had to do this, and didnt have this "fix" to use.

I ended up using a piece of fishing line to get the metal tongue to bend back enough to get it loose, then on to a very thin, flat metal ruler to stick in the gap to open it more. Took about 30 min and thank God didnt bend or scratch anything, but I was sweating blood over it. I quess I can do this fix after the next bulb change.

That sucks. It really is a hit or miss thing then because mine were so tight I could barely get them on. They dont budge at all. I must have received a good pair.

i got the smoked sonar ones, and they truly suck. the left one is a loose fit and frickin right one is a tight fit. i guess its alright, they look pretty bad ass

Mine are the Civic oem parts...I think from MY92. Got them from Duffer on this board...he had an extra set. They popped right in, after I snapped off the small round tab on one end. Let me know if anyone wants the part no.
