Default Warranty Question plz Help

Hi

I have newly purchased an S2000 and I have noticed that the shift knob is too small for my hand, anyway I have ordered an TWM Performance knob and got it installed. Will this affect my warranty in any way? cuz you know how picky dealers can get!! Anyway thank you guys

I totally agree with you ENTHRALLED but the thing is I tightened the knob so hard that I could not get the thread out, I tried many times but it seems that it will never leave any recommendations on how to remove the thread? please note that I have not used any glue. (By the way nice avatar she is damn HOT!!!!)

If the new knob makes the total shift arm higher or lower than more than 2mm, and you go in for a tranny problem, they can cite improper azimuth causing fork stress.

Take it off with a pipe wrench if need be before any tranny work.

Thanx Ruprecht, but does this mean that if my knob is a little higher or a little lower than the stock one it may really damage my shifter? cuz I am getting scared now
