Not to beat this to death, but here is an easy way to measure the contact patch of the tires. Put soapy water on one front and one rear and slowly drive over two pieces of cardboard or thick stock paper, one under the front wheel and one under the rear wheel. It would probably work without the soapy water since the tires are fairly dirty already. This will leave an imprint the width of the contact patch and we can measure it. I will do my car this weekend. If someone who has non-oem S-02's, and someone with PP's, 245's, 255's etc., or any other tire we have questions about, will also measure their contact patch, we can then make a better judgement about what will best fit in place of finding actual OEM tires. This should eliminate all the questions about who measured what and where, and give us a consistent point of reference for determining how much rubber is on the ground with different tires.
