did a search and found the information. how reliable... not sure. but it does indicate that mine is the one of the newer models that does have the new oil jet bolt. from what i've been reading, it looks like all s2000 transmission problems were fixed. someone correct me if i'm wrong on this one.

As mentioned several times above (and most will concur) this car is not made for drags. If you plan to launch it a lot it's gonna break at some point (drivetrain) unless you plan to do it from a roll. Aside from that the car is stellar at all other hard driving activities and FEW cars will outperform her (depending on the driver). Almost all problems that pop up with the car stem from punishing her off the line.
