Please don't use the Corner as a repository to dump garbage ... Don't post, or post it in off topic Moderators there are probably a lot more friendly than me
Well, have a Dumpster forum for garbage, so I'm not dumping anything in the Corner, but there's a lot of what amounts to basic no value post whoring there. Not my issue, I don't go there and don't have to deal with it.

Seems to me that you have an issue with it.

For the most part, cthree, hondagal, and the rest of the admins/moderators/COs have done a good job keeping the noise level down so that new owners can join, ask stupid questions, and not get royally flamed for asking.

I've been on s2ki for a LOOOONG time and I can't imagine having had an S2000 without it. Initially, the folks on this site knew much more about our cars than the Honda techs - and in many cases, probably still do. Much of what's been improved in our cars has been due to the things s2ki people have learned and taken the time to communicate. We've benefitted and Honda has even listened.

It's also always had a lot of silliness, stupidity, and redundancy ... but as others have pointed out, this is the Internet and the car has been around awhile. I haven't spent much time here in the last few years due to job restrictions, but when my AP1 got totaled last month, this is the first place I came to learn about the AP2, prices, differences, and what was going on.

I s2ki!!!

Imagine how different this board would be if Off Topic and The Corner were members only...
This seems to be implying that OT and the Corner are the source of problematic guests...

Ah, well, not what I wanted to imply. We have problematic members too.

Nice to see some folks still appreciate the site - I know I do; I spend WAY too much time here!

I'm new here and would like to hear a bit more about the history of s2ki. at dbr i heard a few people talking about problems between s2ki and s2kca. whats the nature of the problems? also, what events led to the exodus of some members of this site and their move to s2kca (namely xviper)? if any of this is personal or water under the bridge that people would rather not bring back up, thats completely fine, i have just had my interest piqued.

S2ki is a Forum and S2kca is a Club. For the longest time I thought S2kca was a Cali club, not a national club, but that's about all I know.
