When was traction control introduced?

hi there all...

New here... Im after a S2K... after civic's and integra's, its the way forward

I want one with TC... i need to know what year it was introduced into UK cars and how u know that the car has it???

2006. there was as well other changes from 2005 to 2006.

Some of the UK people have installed aftermarket traction control in earlier models There are some local forums detailing the installation.

You should also run a search on the forum and look for threads that went over the major changes in different model years.

Nevertheless, good luck with your purchase!

You should ask in the UK forums. Model content is different in different markets and Model Year designation is different in the UK than in North America. By the way, the feature is VSA (Vehicle Stability Assist) not Traction Control. It does include traction control, however but does more.

Traction control was invented in the early 1900s, when some guy driving a model T realized that his wheels would spin in the mud unless he took off very slowly.
