Default Whistle diff/trans ?

Hi evryone i hope you enjoy your summer for ones who live in the north like me

I recently change the diff. fluid and trans. fluid at my Honda dealer ( he suggest me for the warranty ) , now i hear a whistle when im on cruise control at any speed , for example ; the speed is around 59/61 Mph on cruise control , the second the car decel from 61 to 59 i can understand that whistle (whit the roof if not the wind make more noise) not very loud but the sound is there ,its not intermittent .

i was using Pennzoil Synthetic in the past, they put original Honda diff fluid ( i saw the bottle 75W90 gl-5 ) . I never heard that sound whit the Penn. , i dumped the Honda Diff. oil yesterday and put the Penn synthetic (75W90 GL-5) oil like in the past and i cant get rid of that noise anymore.

Here my question, when i flushed the Honda diff. oil i found ZERO metallic chip , only dark oil and no special smell. Since i dont see any evidence of wear, can we say the diff is " top shape " ? or there is some parts inside the diff. are broken or the sound is coming from the transmission , btw the other day i had to travel like 4 hours on highway then few miles in town and i had no reverse !! wanst able to push the lever to put in reverse and my titanium shift lever was very hot

Also the second i push clutch pedal no sound.

lemme know what you think i have an appointement friday at dealer.

thanks !!

There is NO original Honda rear diff fluid for an S2000. Are you sure of what you "saw"? Here is the memo from Honda Canada saying what to use because they have no in-house fluid to put into our cars. They have to get it from their motorcycle division.

Here are some threads documenting what can happen when the dealer doesn't know what they're doing.
