Who uses the boot?
8 months of the year my top is down 98% of the time (hardtop is on the other 4 months). When the top is down the boot is on 95% of the time. I can easily install or remove the boot in less than 60 sec. Not hard once you get the hang of it. If you are having trouble with the tabs in rear popping up then just get the top TSB done (it lets the top retract further) or do it yourself.
I guess for the boot to be a good idea, the S2000 needs to be your second car. Until a couple of weeks ago it was my Daily Driver for 6 months. So obviously I enjoyed having the top down, but when at work it needs to go up. I also don't really like leaving my car unattended to in parking lots with the top down. I would be very angry if someone decided to spit in my car or throw trash in it just out of jealousy. I've seen it happen. So for everyday use, the boot is not convenient. I do like the look of it, and now that I have a second car, I may use it more often.
If I have to park the car outsode for an extended period of time, I just trow on my cockpit cover. That way, I don't have to take the boot off, and the interior is protected from the sun and other elements.

[B]Hmmm, I'm surprised with how many of you leave the top down all the time, even when unattended.
