My first car was a 1988 cutlass supreme all black black interior. It was 2003 and I never saw dvd screens in cars so i put an alpine slide out screen dvd player so silly loud kicker speakers and 20" chrome rims to ride around on. Then once the was complete in my eyes a senior citizen decided red lights are optional and t-boned the car and my 88 cutlass with 180k miles was declared totalled by the insurance company.

My next car was a VW1.8T GLI once i bought that car all i wanted was a turbo charged car with 500hp so after putting a bigger turbo amd a awe chip on the ecu a ford f250 rear ended me down in philadelphia he hit the car so hard the radio flew out the rear windshield and the sunroof shattered

Next was the honda civic b16 swap this didnt last long i never really got it to run right and it was shitty on the inside i blew the motor and moved on

Car 4 was a rsx type s i was saving for a bit so once i bought this car i immediatly bought a full-race turbo kit. I loved this car it was nice inside and out however it didnt handle well had crazy torque steer so i was going to get a motorcycle to compliment it so i didnt have to drive it all the time. And so i could have some open air this is when i realized i wanted a convertible. So one night driving home on the PA turnpike 4 miles from exit 333 a trucker fell asleep at the wheel tapped the rear right side of the S at like 75 and i never had a chance. Hit the wall hit the trucker i dont remember the whole accident ended up upside down the trucker leaves and some lady drives by and calls 911 they cut me out of the car about an hour later. No seatbelt cause i was dumb but i walked away without a scratch literally. The firefighters and emts were shocked so in my personal experiance honda makes some very safe cars

The trucking company paid me a sealed settlement and i decided immediatley s2k was my next car. Fou d a berlina s at planet honda nj and ive never been happier. Inlinepro stage1 tur okit and easily the best handling car ive ever had.

S2K = No Complaints

Now i want a CR

The s2000 truely is an incredible car. Even from the moment you jump into the drivers seat and shift through some gears you can tell this is no miata lol. When you drive it, it's obvious the car is sooo solid and agile. That stearing ratio with some grippy tires, I'll bet you've never felt anything like it unless you've driven some higher-end cars built to race. But even some of them don't feel as tight (from my experiences that's my opinion)....Anyway so onto why I own an s2000. It's july of 2000 (i'm 12 years old) my uncle rolls up in his new 00 white s2000. Knowing that I loved cars he pulls right in front of me and revs to 9k. I had never seen anything like it...white with red interior yeeeah I was in love. So he takes my dad for a ride (who was in the market for an m3 at the time). My dad takes me for a ride and for being 12 and hardly able to see over the door; it was a crazy experience and all I can remember is how solid it was in the corners. So two months go by and my dad comes home with an 04 NFR instead of the m3 he had talked about for years. few years go by and although I wish i could drive an s2000 I could only afford a prelude and then an RSX-s. After a while my dad would let me take his s2000 out for a few hours and literally all I would do is drive for hours, I just couldn't stop. Then I'd jump back into my RSX-s and eww what's with the washy steering and the leap of faith gear changes? I needed to get an s2k asap. So I go away to my first year of college with no car and a little over 11k to spend on a car at some point. I eventually find an 04 silverstone with a rebuilt title with 24k on it going for around 11. I test drive it hard, look at everything, and other than minor scratches, it was registered rebuilt and a trusted mechanic and I made sure everything was sound. I buy it, mod it, and im now at 50k with absolutely not one issue. So i drive it around town and many people ask me about it and are skeptical and even hate. So for those serious non-believers I start out by taking them for some highway pulls and then hit the back roads and watch them hold on for dear life as I enter a 90 degree corner at 45 and exit screaming to redline. I've never taken any passenger for a ride who wasn't either scared to death or extremely impressed...with the car. for the lucky ones who i let drive it...I had a wrx owner shift from 1st to 2nd and say he was putting his car up for sale that day. I had another close friend drive it around the block and purchase one a week later (this guy.. through a weathly family, member has driven the new skyline GTR, M5, 400+awhp EVO X, C63 amg, and the list goes on and on I kid you not) ...but he chooses to drive an s2000 and he constantly says that even going from the GTR to the s2000 he says it feels obvious to him that he made the right choice to dd an s2000. What guy doesn't enjoy an extremely well built sports car? I guess there may be a few who'd rather have a back seat...as for me it's a great excuse not to drive when more than one person needs a ride haha. But I'd say you have to prefer driver experience above all else in order to dd this car. Sorry for the long story, I just thought I'd share because it is a true example of how special this car is and why anyone who hasn't driven one, should. Thanks honda for making every trip to the grocery store put a smile on my face.

Because my Elise a/c sucks and I can't drive it to work everyday but the S2000 is 90% the fun.

My screen name says it best. What better way to escape but to get in, put top down and find some twisty's. It is just plane fun to drive. javascript:add_smilie("")

, because it's more like a sport car with a touch of class, instead of a luxury car with a sporty touch.

The designer of the S2000 said they designed it to stir people's souls. I drive it because it stirs mine. The love affair began in 2000, the test drives happened in 2006, 2007,2008, and 2009, and I finally scraped up enough money to pull the trigger in 2009. Its been a long wait, but now I am at peace.
