Just a short story about an incident that happened this afternoon...

I was on my way to teach the first of several of my drum lessons, and was cruising on an expressway headed towards the beaches area (JTB just East of the Intracoastal for any Jacksonville peeps who may read this). As I am cruising along at about 70mph something catches my eye in my rear view mirror. I look closer and realize that a bright yellow Ferrari is closing on me fast. I was in the right lane, and as he caught up to me he slowed in the left lane and pulled up next to me. I look over to to acknowledge the lucky owner (who was a silver haired man probably in his 50's) and he gives me a thumbs-up! The car was a 360 Spyder. I immediately responded with the same for him (as well as a big grin) and then he got back on his way.

I thought it was pretty cool to get the from a Ferrari owner.

Funnily enough, there was a Red Lancer EVO about 50 yards in front of me, and the Ferrai never gave him a second look as he passed him.

Anyhow...just thought I'd share.

same thing happened to me, i had the top down, and a guy drove buy me in a hummer...hehe...and game me the thumbs up, so i did the same back. kinda cool, i felt special.

Haha nice! My best moment was when a Carrera 4 switched lanes to let me pass after I had kept up with him on the freeway.

 

Nice!! I had a guy in a porsche boxster speed up next to me and slowed down to keep pace. The whole time the guy was just staring at my car while trying to keep a eye on the road. He never looked at me or anything, but catching the attenetion of a porsche driver was more than enough, and that's just one of my stories. I have many more stories and I've only had this car for little less than a month.
