My other car is a Jeep Wrangler with a flat, straight up windshield. It lives at the chip repair shop. The s2k windshield, like others said, isn't angled much either. A rock is more likely to leave a ding than glance off. Find a reputable place to fill the dings and get them filled right away before it cracks. Don't hit the windshield with cold water on a hot day either if you've got dings and cracks.

Are you using OEM glass? Many are of the opinion that it is softer than most and going to a different brand may yield better results. I, fortunately, have not had to test this theory yet.
I've been told by some members of other boards to replace it with PPG glass. It is much harder and more resistant to chips. I need a new winshield also and called around my area and found an installer that has PPG glass for the S2000, so it is available.

Funny/strange thing is, I believe most Hondas use PPG but the S uses Lamsafe. May be simply due to the fact that the Accords and Civics are built in the U.S. but the S2000 is assembled in Japan.
