I just had my windshield replaced today. Anyone out there had any problems with windshield replacments?

 

nastinupe, I've got a growing crack on mine. Would you be so kind as to pass on some info about yours? Did you get an OEM windshield or a different brand; how much was it; who did the installation; and were you pleased with the results. Thanks

 

nastinupe1, I got hit with a rock a while back, I have yet to have it replaced. Who was the manufacturer of your glass, PPG? Did you just go to any place special? Did you get a Honda OEM piece of glass?

 

I replaced mine within the first 2 months for a large rock chip. I got a PPG aftermarket replacement. It is holding up much better the the OEM glass ever did. Even with 2 months the OEM glass had a lot of pitting. The PPG glass has very few after 7 months.

Does the PPG glass have the blacked out border like the OEM?
