I don't understand why people are so quick to make negative comments about something just because they themselves have no experience with it.

If anyone has any knowledge about drag racing they know that the sixty foot is very important to your overall elapsed time. A rear wheel drive car with that kind of mile per hour is capable of running 12.9-13.0's with a good launch. His car is capable of cutting a 1.9 sixty foot which would automatically deduct .6 seconds off his E.T. That is what the car should run with an experienced driver.

You're making comments that we are trying to "be salesmen". Why wouldn't we want to market a good product that we have worked so hard for. We developed this kit so we can offer it to our customers. Isn't that how business works?

I don't know what you do for a living but I hope you are not another one of those keyboard mechanics that just trolls around bashing other people for doing something you can't.

We have been working on Honda's and Acura's for almost 10 years. We actually work on these cars for a living. The owner John has been turning wrenches since 1985. It is very rare that we will even post something on these boards but it is just upsetting that people are putting this guy down when he is just posting on how happy he is with his car.

Jeremy, dont let the naysayers get you down. Im very impressed by this setup, provided that it proves to be reliable. Having an extra 70 ft lbs of torque is a great thing on the S2000, and it would make a fantastic building block for further modifications.

Some people have nothing nice to say. Ignore it.

106 is a pretty solid trap. Im going to watch what you guys do pretty closely from here on out.

Great job on the car John...pretty good trap there just some more seat time and those ETs will be dropping. Very nice for an NA car...

as for the negative comments expect them occasionally, there are a lot of keyboard mechanics around!

Regards,
Arnold

wow, the power increase is absolutely great. Like I mentioned previously, try and find new cams or something because all the power is just where I expected, in the low range. Glad you went through with it now all you have to do is get it perfected.

I realize that my comments were inflamatory, but I wouldn't consider myself a "nay sayer" or "keyboard mechanic". I am an engineer, and I have quite a bit of experience with Hondas myself. However, I admit that I have no drag racing experience. My point was about the general principle of taking statements by a vender about performance with a grain of salt. We all know vendors make claims that are not always true (although some are).

I apologize my comments of "keyboard mechanic" are definitely not towards you Gernby. I have read countless of your post and taken many recommendations you offered. I know you were offering various view points which are repsected.
