9:1 Compression On Street Gas, How much boost? with built internals, AEM EMS?

thanks black2000turbo
I still like to do a lot of research to make sure that my rebuilders are doing the right thing.
Do you guys know where I can get some more info on the JE pistons and Pauter rods?
How much did you guys pay for your pistons + rods?
Thanks

Something to think about when discussing the amount of boost the internals can take is the difference between the power delivery of a supercharger and a turbo. Boost is boost, but it is my understanding that with a centrifigal sc, such as the Vortech kit, you won't reach full boost until near redline.
Running 11psi with a turbo is vastly different than running an 11 psi pulley on a supercharger. Turbos spool up more quickly therefore delivering that boost over a broader range of RPM's. I am not an expert when it comes to the supercharger kits so someone may need to confirm/refute this.

you are right, the turbo "stress" the engine more for the same amount of peaked boost. It certainly has more midrange power compare to the sc. Howerver I still like my shortblock to last and I will not take any short cut in this rebuilding process.
