Any One Remove/installed Front Subframe?

Default Any One Remove/installed Front Subframe?

my subframe is coming in on friday and i want my car finished before my gf's birthday. i was just wondering how long did it take? don't worry im not doing this in my garage or anything, i work at a collision repair shop. mainly looking for time and anything that i should watch out for while doing this. thank you

The front subframe holds the engine on it as well. There are only 6 incredibly long bolts holding the subframe itself onto the rest of the chassis. The longest part of the process is putting the engine and tranny back into the car.

These bolts are only good for ONE installation. They are not intended to be subject to torque more than ONE time.

Get new bolts and torque them to the specifications set out in the service manual and in the sequence shown.
Harry, I know that is what the manual says but I have yet to talk to a Honda mechanic that replaces them when doing a clutch. I replaced mine once but did not last time I did the clutch.
