So guys have problems with the corners, some don't. It can change also if you remove and then put the bumper back on. Since it can ruin the looks of the bumper by having those dimples become permanent and crack the paint, take care the support beam if you don't replace it.

It would be really hard to pound it down enough. I'd cut it if you reuse it, even if it didn't cause dimples in the first place.
