Broken U-Joint
Well, the drive shaft was replaced but another noise was still coming from the differential. So...getting a new one of those, too. Fortunately, the extended warranty is covering the cost. The bucks are adding up.
Yes, strange how things work out, isnt' it? It will be interesting to see if these replacements change how the car feels/handles. Presumably that awful noise and clunking will have gone away.

Best because they are fixing it for free.
