stock intake. A/C could have been on, I don't remember. I'll turn it on today and give it a whirl.

I ask because I noticed this with the stock airbox and it was always when I had the AC on. I would turn the AC off altogether and it stopped, though I'm not sure why... Haven't had a problem since I went CAI.

I get that too sometimes. It's like a vibration caused by the thermal dynamics of the materials in the dash. It's like one piece when it changes in temp will buzz really badly. I noticed this happens mostly when the car is kinda cold but the dash gets heated up due to the days sunlight... maybe.

I dunno and I like to know too.

[QUOTE=Fencer,May 8 2006, 03:15 PM] I've heard something like you've described.

I think some of you do not understand how loud this noise was. I actually heard a buzzing from my rear view today (strange coincidence!), and the noise I originally heard was probably 20 times louder, no exaggeration. I cannot believe that the rear view would be able to produce such a loud noise.

That kind of noise can come from an object lodged between the firewall and bellhousing so I would do a thorough search there. You still have an oil cap but it could be an old one, bolt or tool that fell down.

I couldnt for the life of me find a loud buzz I heard once. It turned out to be the passenger seat being too far back and the rear plastic headrest bezel was vibrating against the roll bar hoop. Inspection found silver paint on the bezel worn away where it was "buzzing." I cant believe honda designed it like that. I do get a dash buzz somewhere, rather faint at only about 60-70 mph, depending what gear I'm in.
