the smell is not all that bad, i really do think some people over react on the smell.
the only concern for you car specifically because yours is an 06+ your computer is a little bit more picky and can trip your cel light or check engine, even both. even if you plug it up with 2 anti foulers but it just depends on your car but you can also fly by it without problems; its basically a hit or miss. but pretty much a test pipe is a test pipe, your just gonna be shopping for the name brand at the very end.
now for the size its better just to keep it the same the whole way which in this case you want to keep the oem exhaust. then it would pair up perfectly with a 63mm rather than a 70mm, you'll be bottle necking the exhaust unless you plan on getting an exhaust down the road with a 70mm, then go right ahead and get the 70mm
just my 2 cents

If you follow one, after an hour or so...
I'd put one on mine, but I go on a few group drives and don't want to be the skunk.

Another vote for Berk, they make great products at reasonable prices and Bryan is a great person to deal with.

Good deal OP. You will be pleased. Look up the DIY on the spark plug defoulers to prevent a CEL.

I have an 06 S2000 just put a Berk TP in maybe 2 weeks ago... The CEL went on after about a week. The 06 and up O2 sensor is more sensitive.
