ok, just put on some oem ngk spark plugs. the ones that were in there were denso spark plugs. here's some pics of the denso spark plugs, it looks like the 2nd one from the left is bad.

 

Is that #3?

I read here a comment someone made about #3 getting hit with the oil that gets sucked through the PCV system so, it's often oilier looking than the other ones.

I might do/have someone do a compression test.

 

im not sure if that was was the 3rd one or not. my dad was the one changing out the spark plugs. i was just watching as i've never done it before.

 

You've got to get more scientific in your approach to problem solving. You're not getting the facts down. It would make this much easier for everyone if you got more specific at capturing the data.

 

i got the cel after changing the spark plugs... haven't got the codes yet, but im guessing it's still misfiring. im probably gonna take it to the place i bought the car from and have them take it to honda to fix it.
