No opinion just a question. Whats the difference between Type I and Type II?

Other than the change interval, not much to the end user. It's coolant, not rocket fuel.

My 2002 has green coolant.

Mine did to, untill I put a coolant temp gauge in it and refilled with blue Type II.

Thanks, I'm going to save myself the hassle and just top it up with the blue Type 2.

hey tommy, hows the car running now since you topped it with blue type 2?
i also have an MY02 and noticed my coolant waayyy below min. it's also green. i bought the car in like '04 from someone who i can't get a hold of. i've been trying to figure out if i need to flush it or if i can just top off with blue type 2
