Default Is this cylinder repairable?

Will this cylinder be able to be reused if I get it honed out 0.25mm and use oversized pistons?

It's probably hard to tell from the picture but opinions from people who have tried honing their cylinders would be great.

Unlikely to clean up, the drag marks look deep near the bottom.

I would take it to a machine shop and get them to do that one first. You may find the piston material in on top of the bore and may hone away. It wont cost much if they stop work after testing the worst bore.

possible, how thick are the gouges, does it slightly catch your fingernail or is it a measurable step to the surface?

This block is just one that I'm looking to buy. I haven't seen it in person yet but the seller says it "barely catches your finger nail".

I wouldn't want to buy it unless it will be useful to me. I may have to "borrow" it and take it to a shop to see if they can hone it out.

FRM cylinders are hard to bore. You have a very small amount of material you can remove, and even then it requires special tools.

Most likely not. Only way to find out is the measure, then bore it.
