IMO gravity and a hose work better than all the stupid pumps and such. That hose may not have quite the ID you need. I use large diameter plastic tubing with a 'L' fitting on one end a shove a funnel in the other. It is very easy to pour in the tranny lube in a few seconds, and if you put the bottle of diff lube in a sink of hot water for a few minutes it pours almost as well. You have the right idea, might just need adjustment to make it easy.
