Differential Bracket Stud

Differential Bracket Stud
So when I took off my differential brackets, the stud came off with the nut. Probably because the nut is rusted onto the stud. Could I just replace this with a bolt? I think the studs are discontinued. Pictures of stud and nut below

Do not use a bolt.
Clamp the stud in a vise at the smooth portion.
Spray it, and free it up.
Then put the stud back in the dif. LIGHTLY tighten the stud. 2-3 ft-lbs (wrist pressure)

Yeah, we've all successfully removed nuts from way more corroded threads than that.
You're simply dealing with path of least resistance. The clean threads in diff end were easier to come out than nut end.
But that nut will come off pretty easily once stud held firm in vise.
Future reference, If you were dealing with heavy corrosion, and irreplaceable fasteners, vice trick to use is go slow, and back and forth.
Loosen a little, tight back a little. Loosen a little farther, tighten a little. Repeat, while adding penetrating oil spray each time.
Heat is also your best friend here.
