Engine noise? or just paranoid?

Default Engine noise? or just paranoid?

Here's a video of my engine running warm, does it seem loud or is this normal engine noise? My00 with 101k on it.

first check your oil, the engine gets loud when a half quart low....if not that, i would think valve adjustment

I bought the car with about 90k and haven't done a valve adjustment, the oil is good, I changed it about 2 weeks ago. I guess i'll do a valve adjustment this weekend

the other infamous noise is the timing chain tensioner but I don't think that's what you've got there.

You may have changed the oil 2 weeks ago, but that doesn't mean it's not low now. I don't know when you purchased the car, but keep in mind that you should always keep an eye on your oil levels, especially if it's an AP1.

And as Billman says, check hot and cold, and check BOTH sides of the dipstick.
