The original design of the anti-bumpsteer kit. Which I do have on my car, so I'm personally trusting the redesigned part.
street version or race version?

I think it applied to all versions. I have the street version.

Pull the girdle off. I'll bet you have a spun main bearing between cylinder 2 and 3. Hopefully the crank is not damaged.

I'm very curious why SC Highlander installed the pan in the first place. It seems that you have an oil pressure gauge. Were you seeing low oil pressure at times? Did the pan solve that (until now)?
I installed the pan because I do a fair number of track days and autocrosses. I just got the gauges last fall.

Hmm, so you don't know if the baffles were helping or not (before they broke). I'm really curious, because the baffled oil pan just doesn't make sense to me, and it would be interesting to see if somebody had real world data that proved I was wrong. I think the oil starvation issues have to do with the oil returning from the head, not with the oil sloshing around in the pan.

I have several TC Designs parts on my car, and Tony has a reputation for good customer service. One of his other products did have a fatigue issue, and he did a recall on it, replacing the part with a new design. So I expect he'll want to know about this.
I sent him a PM and an email last night after I found broken baffle.

Phone call works better. He does check his email and PM, but not as often as most of us.

Ouch! Sorry to hear. I never understood the pros of an oil pan with moving parts over one that has solid baffles - Mugen, J's Racing, Spoon.....

Ooof...

Bryan...sad to see that. Very disappointing to buy an expensive part that is supposed to actually improve reliability and then to have it be the source of a failure.
