Default EPS Light

Today, all of a sudden, my EPS light came on and the steering wheel became a lot heavier. We recently installed an eManage on the car. would it cause the problem??

Also right after we installed the eManage, the speedo stopped. it shows the rev and everything but the speed stays at 0 and the mileage stopped. it doesn't increase. is something unplugged? where should I check??

If there is no speed signal and an rpm above 3000 rpm for more than 3 minutes, the EPS has a brain fart. You've buggered up something in your eManage install. What that might be, only you can find out.

You need to figure out where your install went wrong.

do you have a CEL? emanage doesn't replace the ECU i believe, so you should still have your factory ECU. this means, you should have a CEL. if you do, we need the code.

otherwise, we are just guessing, and there's a million things that could cause this. who knows what wires where, etc. any answers we give are an excersize in futility.

Here is the answer you are looking for. Your Yellow Box needs to be wired up as follows or you will not get a speed signal to the ECU:
