Since i bought this car on almost every cold start the car will try to crank over twice then when it does it starts right after it sounds like something grinds. Almost like when you grind gears but not as crazy.. Also when i start my car it sounds weak as if my starter is slowly dying and it doesn't want to crank over.. At first i thought it was my Flywheel that might of mad that grinding sound but after noticing my starter feels weak Im starting to believe its my starter motor going out. But i have no idea im not mechanic.. Any ideas???

Thats the starter making the noise. My was doing that when it was really cold out.

Probably your battery. Worse when it's cold.

It's not properly activating the solenoid that engages your starter motor and grinding it one the flywheel.

Change the starter before you ruin your flywheel.
