Default Head removal

Need a little assistance here removing the head. I've got everything off that I can see. Head moves there's a quarter inch or so between the block and the head all the way around minus the back right corner. It appears something is holding it under the intake manifold but I can't pinpoint it.

There is two support brackets holding the intake manifold, did you remove them?
Number 15 and 16 https://www.hondapartsnow.com/parts-...-manifold.html

There's also a ground on the back of the head.

Got that one looks like it was the bracket under the throttle body. Looks like the alternators gotta go to get it to unfortunately. So much hassle for a simple bracket.

I didn't remove my alternator to get the head off. Maybe because I removed the intake manifold? And, after looking at your picture again, I took the tensioner pulley/bracket off also.

Hopefully you loosened the head bolts properly. You have to loosen them in sequence, and only a little a time on each bolt. You go through the sequence multiple times loosening each bolt a little each time. Otherwise head will warp.

Most likely the ground bolt, water temp sensor, or dowels.
