Default help (diagnostic trouble code)

i have a DTC 27 (steering angle sensor), its a misalignment of the steering angle due to the toe adjustmnt that i did. i was able to fix it already and i am wondering how to clear the dtc with out having to use a honda diagnostic scanner.

go to autozone and pepboys and get a loaner scanner. that would be your best bet. other than that you'll need to pull out the "BACK UP" fuse in the under dash (driver's side) fuse panel for about 30 seconds. This will reset the ECU (computer) without losing your radio code (like if you disconnected the battery), but it will put the ECU back to the default settings. No big deal as it will learn again fairly quickly.
