^ yeah but I never use my remotes when I have my car home in the garage, I probably haven't used my remotes when my car is at home in 5 years as it just sits in my garage. I know about the self re-locking feature but I never use the unlock button at home and it can't even happen accidentally.

Low battery level is what I decided was causing mine. Car would still have enough to start but when I charged the battery this mysterious locking went away?
This is on a '00 if that makes any difference?

My AP1 autolocks after a few seconds. However, during heated seats install, i noticed a black box under the driver seat to 1) set alarm sensitivity and 2) set locks to manual instead of auto. No more autolock for me after that! Major PITA to get in the vehicle with locked keys inside and a hardtop...

Alarm sensitivity? If my soft top is down and the doors are locked and someone reaches inside to unlock the door; would the alarm sound? I feel like nothing would set off my car alarm. I could probably lock the doors and jump on top of the car and it still wouldn't sound..

If you have it, try turning it to full sensitivity.

I know you haven't been touching the remote for while it's garaged, but are you sure you're not hitting the unlock key as you park the car in the garage and you know it will be there for a while? If so, and the doors are closed, it would still re-lock the door if you don't open and close a door after hitting the unlock button. I have caught myself doing this, because I also want to leave mine unlocked when it's stored in my garage.

Its me. I sneak into your house and lock the doors when you're not around.

I know where you keep your keys.
