Default MAP whack worked now what.

AP1 with 71,3XX miles- Every once in a while at a cruising speed 35mph, 55mph, for a second the car would feel as if its hitting the brakes on its own then go back to normal.

I did the MAP whack and that all went away. For good measure I added some lucas fuel injector cleaner.

My question is, does this mean I should buy the new improved MAP like from Hardtopguy?

I don't want to have to perform the MAP whack every month. It has been a week so far of happy driving, I just want to keep it that way.

I never had any misfires or CEL's except for a bad secondary 02. Replaced that with the Invidia T/P that had built in 02 sim. No more CEL's of any kind.

No, just clean the connections of your MAP well and zip tie it securely. That's all the "new" MAP sensor does anyway. My stumbling went away after getting the injectors cleaned and stayed away for ~20k miles.
