If it were my car, I'd weld on a right angle tube.
I supposes you can just leave it till you run over something that'll snag it and yank all kinds of stuff out. Then you can assess what needs to be done.
i'm really not worried about snagging anything, i'm more worried about the collection of liquids between the sensor housing and the sensor element during a cold start up. my o2 sensor is 10 degrees downward instead of 10 degrees upward.

Good point. Even the OEM sensor seems to be prone to rust.

Ok, two questions - on the nonfouler (one you drill out) which side am I drilling out? the side that the 02 sensor actually screws into or the end that the other non fouler screws into? Also, did you all use the washers that come with the non foulers?

Thanks!

When using a non standard ECu which cuts the secondary O2 sensor, is ther any harm in just unclipping the senor with the cat? That is what I have done. Saves me unscrewing it everytime I change back for emiissions checks.

Drill out the side that the antifouler screws into the test pipe...

Here's what you really need to do, try to put the O2 sensor into the antifouler without drilling it...see what happens...then, drill to fix that problem...it will all fit perfectly.

Short terms, drill the side with the small hole

I guess, see if you can send it back to T1R...they should need to send you a new one

I have a T1R test pipe but the wires on the O2 sensor arent long enough for me to screw it back in.

With the anti foulers it should be a shorter distance.

I wonder, if the wires are getting twisted as you screw it on?
