Default misfiring cel light

i finally had a chance to pull my cel code, and found out im a new member to the misfiring through cyl 1-4 club. yea its annoying, but what im wondering is have others with this cel notice the car being a lot slower? im sure it should be because the car probably in most cases needs spark plugs. but i was "driving" with my friend who had a 06 and his car was pulling a lot harder...... this is kind of a 2 part question but heres the crazy thing. he then took off his intake cover, and when we "drove" again, he pulled even harder as if he had nos or something! it was crazy. i kno theres testimonials of horsepower loss from heat soak, but man did his car pull. so ne ways, any input from people with the cel? please dont flame for the intake cover off statement.

if u are havin misfires ur car need some tlc before it will "pull hard" again.
removing the cover will not help with the misfires. keep it on.
the misfire cel needs to go away, and fast! before ur mill is toast.

if your engine is misfireing it is not fireing properly. It will have LESS POWER. You WILL feel the diferance. This is nothing to play with. It needs to get fixed before you have to push it by hand!

I recently had the misfire CEL on 1 & 2. Took it to the dealer and through the process of elimination, they found that it was the injectors. They put them on a pressure rail (?) and cleaned them out. Haven't had the CEL for a couple of weeks now and the car is running much stronger. Not to mention it doesn't shake like an old Charger when idling.

I'm having a pesky misfire CEL that I'm trying to work out too...
P0304: Misfire Cylinder 4... First time it came on, I replaced the plugs with NGK's, gapped and torqued down properly, and it went away with no issues until a few days ago... I did all that about 6 months ago...
Not sure about the power loss, but I have NOT VTEC'd since it came back on... I can hear the car misfiring thru the Invidia @ idle... Doesn't sound real well, sort of a 'puffing/huffing' type sound...

Taking it in Weds. for a full evaluation...

yea this suks. i hope my spark plugs do the trick. im pretty sure injectors are more expensive. Argentum, do u know how exactly they did the process of elimination, or anyone know? how much did they charge u to do the "process" and for injectors?

They rotate the plugs, check to see if the CEL followed to the new cylinder, if it did, then it's probably the plugs. If is stays, it's not the plugs. They do the same thing with the coil packs and injectors testing to see if the problem follows the rotation.
