I have this morning discovered a 2 inch tear in the soft top.Could this have happened when the top was opperated or is it as I suspect that some jelous losser at my work cut it. Any sujestions on how i can fix it. I changed the oil recently and the service light went on is this something they would reset and the dealer and if so how can I do it. My last question is related to the front spoiler. I'm not used to a low car and Ive scrapped it.Is there a way fix this without re-painting.I'm greatful for any advice Thanks

 

for the maintenance light, check your owners manual.

soft top tear could've been from operation.

As for the front spoiler, I can't see it, so I can't tell you if touch up paint will be enough or if you have to repaint it.

FYI, learn how low the front end is, and drive accordingly take steep banks at an angle from a level road, same with speed bumps, etc. And go slow!

 

somebody bought patches at walmart, put 'em on the inside and hopefully your tear is just minor...

 

maint' required light>>>hold down sel/trip buttons in dashboard, and turn the key into the on postion I think. I haven't done it in a while. I don't put that much mileage on my car.

I had a tear in my old 01 top just from normal use but for some reason it didn't leak and that was in WA!

front lip: can't see but most likely no. Just part of having a low car.
