small block 350! like an LS6 gets my vote. Then move the transmission to the rear to blance the extra weight in the front. You are gonna need a new transmissoin and rear end any way with 405HP. then get header, exhaust, intake, maybe a new cam and start pushing north of 500!!

That would be damn nice but an LS6 aint going to fit under there without some severe engine bay modifications. Also, with the length from top to bottom on that engine vs. the F20C it might acutally be dragging on the road as you are cruising.

Actually, the LS6 probably is not much larger than the LS1 or LT1, and I know those fit in the engine bay of an RX-7, so it could probably fit. Weight wise, surprisingly, is about the same as the RX-7 engine. I don't know how much our engine weighs, but probably not less than the RX-7 engine.

The LT1 is actually a VERY light engine for its size, if I remember correctly.

With the right amount of money you are absolutely right.

Honda606, since I'm an idiot and posted to the wrong thread, the LT1 weighs in at 452lbs.

Gernby said the S2000 engine weighs 350lbs. I don't know the details as far as what that includes (Whether thats the short block or all the accessories), but its not a huge difference. Just add a little weight in the back and you can get pretty close. Actually, with a full tank of gas it'd be close.

Why the hell would you do sequential twins on a 4 rotor?

Hell, do a single on a 20b and you'll be putting down 600+ hp.
