I have a feeling that the NSX engine crossover is posible....I have found that with cars, if you have enough money, anything is possible...at dtmpower.net i saw a 3 series with a Supra TT engine in there...After that i am a believer in this Honda S3200
Sure, saw the whole front of the car off, relocate the suspension, change the steering, etc. and you could pull it off. But would it be an S2000 anymore? No way to fit the engine otherwise.

Don't know how much the engine weighs, but it isn't light. I doubt its as heavy as an LS1. But it is substantially wider thanks to the DOHC heads. That's the problem.
If I was going to put a different motor into the S2000, I'd look at the J32A2 motor from the CL-S. That motor makes an easy 300 hp NA, and I've already tested a custom single turbo model that spooled up quick and made 375 hp on just 6 psi.
