It wouldn't bolt on something down there is tweaked man. are you sure you didn't hear this noise before the TP was on? You shouldn't hear any noise from it inside the car (at idle) and it should just be normal exhaust sound (albeit with the new tone) when on the throttle.

I run this setup and the only hiss I hear is comes from the front end. Sounds like you have an exhaust leak at the tp/exhaust joint. Maybe the shop installed the test pipe backwards i.e. they confused the left/right sides

yeah... it just didn't seal correctly at the donut gasket. i've done engine, brakes, suspension swaps, etc... with my del sol and this kicked my ass even w/ air tools. LoL

my sol had a test pipe also...i had the same noise too. maybe it's normal? i just checked for leaks again and no leaks at idle or gas. i want to put it on a stand and put some load on it.

Look for black sooty "whisps" around the connection.

i just put mine on last week, and i don't have any strange noise. It should have bolted right in no problem, since it didn't you might need to check it out some more.

I have the Berk TP recently installed on MY04.

After the install and in additon to a throatier exhaust I hear a very slight metallic like note or whistle that wasn't there previously... I have thoroughly checked for leaks etc - I attribute the 'new' sound to be increased air flow...
