Default Passenger Window/Soft Top Problem

i have a 2001 s2000. Drove home last night with zero problems, both windows and top down. pull into the driveway and put the top up and both windows with no problems. i got in the car today and the passenger side window and soft top both are not working. when either the roof switch or either passenger side window controls are used there is no sound whatsoever, so i thought it was just lack of power to the motors. checked the fuses and all check out fine....i really hope its not the motors but i cant think of any other explanation. can any one?

Check your lockout switch on the driver's side?

This thread is super old but it came up in a Google search while trying to diagnose this problem. The issue ended up being the soft top control module. I ordered another one off of ebay for $75 shipped and everything is fine now. Part number was 86500-SA2-A01. Hope this helps someone in the future.

Did your soft top and passenger window died at the same time ?

Does the module that you buy have to be year specific?

My car is a 00 and I see two online for sale one is a 01 and the other is 06.

**UPDATE**
This fixed my issue, I ended up buying a Module off a 06 and it worked!
